Our Mission
At Biochar Club, we transform the problem of unused organic material into opportunity.
Our work is rooted in a simple idea, that restoring the health of our soil is one of the most effective and immediate ways we can capture and securely store atmospheric carbon, strengthen our environment, our land, and our communities.
From wildfire mitigation and disaster recovery to regenerative farming and compost enhancement, our goal is simple: turn surplus biomass into stable carbon that restores soil, reduces risk, and builds resilience.
Supported by the Lynch Family Foundation, Biochar Club connects farmers, recovery crews, and local authorities with low-cost, high-impact technology that captures carbon and strengthens the land.

Farming & Soil Regeneration
Biochar made from crop residues and trimmings improves soil structure, holds moisture, and boosts microbial life. Farmers see healthier crops, improved yields, and less reliance on synthetic fertilizer.
Build resilience from the ground up.

Integrating biochar made from locally collected organic feedstock enhances nutrient retention and accelerates compost maturity—creating a premium soil conditioner with higher performance and lower emissions.

Disaster Management
From risk to resilience.
Biochar made from crop residues and trimmings improves soil structure, holds moisture, and boosts microbial life. Farmers see healthier crops, improved yields, and less reliance on synthetic fertilizer.
From debris to regeneration.
After hurricanes or floods, recovered biomass from fallen trees and vegetation can be transformed on-site into biochar that aids recovery, erosion control, and replanting—keeping valuable carbon in the ground instead of the atmosphere.

Our
Patent pending
pyrolysis
technology
The Biochar Club licenses its unique technology to members, then reinvests funds to help communities purchase additional equipment. The more areas cleared, the more wildfire risk reduction can be achieved — creating a multiplying effect.
The kilns combine 3,000-year-old flame cap principles with modern insulation and airflow control.
-
Operates at 600–800°C ([convert to °F]) — similar to volcanic heat.
-
Processes [XX–YY tons/hour] of forest debris.
-
Produces 4–6 loads per day, depending on feedstock.
-
Quenching system reduces ember risk.
-
Flame cap design ensures very low emissions.
-
Safer and more efficient than open burning.
-
Made in the U.S., with plans to expand production closer to high-demand regions.

Membership
The Biochar Club is for land owners, foresters and farmers alike.
Membership includes:
-
Our unique kiln (7, 10, 14, or 21 cubic yard sizes)
-
Regional training for up to four community leads
-
A quench pool for safe processing
-
A starter safety kit
Points are tracked once training is complete and KilnOS is activated. Carbon credits are bundled and sold collectively to maximize value for members.
For every ton of verified biochar you produce earns 1 CharMile point. CharMiles™ is Club Biochar’s member reward program — a practical, no-nonsense way to recognise the people doing the real work of turning waste into worth.
Upcoming Events
The Biochar Club will be exhibiting at the following events and trade shows. If you are interested in attending and booking an appointment to visit us at our stand please do get in touch.
